The New Normal - What we're doing to keep visitors safe.

What a change a few months can make? This time last year we were preparing for the holidays with only the usual stresses that they bring. Six months ago, people across the world felt anxiety, and doubt unlike they had ever experienced before, we waited with baited breath for updates, keeping track of numbers, science, and politics. During these uncertain times, we have all had the chance for a little inner reflection, looking back.

At Heavenly Hair, we wanted to take this opportunity to look forward, to search towards the future, however uncertain it may appear and make sure that everything we did going forward was with the intention to keep our clients safe, our team safe and to minimise our impact on the environment while we made these changes.

During this unexpected time, we wanted to reassure you of the steps we are taking in the salon to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our team. Guidelines are ever evolving, and we are constantly staying up to date to make sure that we are doing everything we can during these trying times. Here are some of the current measures that we have in place:

·       Staff wear Goggles/Visor & Type 2 Masks as well as washing their hands regularly throughout the day.

·       Clients wear masks in the salon

·       All stations and tools are cleaned with a disinfectant between clients

·       Key touchpoints (ie door handles, toilets) are sanitised throughout the day as well as after use.

·       Hand sanitiser is available at every station for your use, as well as by the front door for use on entry and exit.

·       Protective screens are in place at reception, and on our nail bar

·       Hot/Cold drinks are available in disposable, takeaway cups.

·       Our treatment room is available for private use for clients who are vulnerable or shielding.

·       Single use towels and gowns are used for each client and disposed of.

·       Bags and Hangers are available for clients to store their possessions and keep them clean throughout their visit.

·       Our waiting area has been removed to allow space for social distancing.

These are just some of the measures we have put in place, and we are constantly researching the best ways we can keep you safe while making sure you feel comfortable in the salon. If you have any queries about coming into the salon, don’t hesitate to get in contact so we can put your mind at ease.

Thanks to all the clients who have visited us in the last few months, your support means a lot, and we’re glad that you trust us with your safety!
