Our very own Janene Bush is today launching a national crusade to ask fellow colleagues in the profession and beyond to join in with a ‘We are back, but not in black” campaign as the beauty and hairdressing industry prepares to re-open their doors this July.

We understand that some of our clients are concerned about the condition of their hair and hair colour during this extended period of isolation. However, this is a great opportunity to try out different hairstyles and get your hair looking and feeling as healthy as possible.

Following government guidelines, Heavenly Hair will now be closed until further notice. We absolutely believe this is the right thing to do in the best interests of the wellbeing of our teams, and the community.

We want to thank you for the incredible support you have shown us during this time. These moments of adversity have brought people together in so many ways and we hope that you feel as proud as we do, to be part of such a supportive community.

At our boutique salon, the team are as committed to style as they are sustainability.

“We have been using HDS eco towels for some time now,” explains our salon Managing Director Janene Bush. “These single use, naturally biodegradable towels are made from ethically sourced wood pulp. They are great for the environment, and perfect for ensuring we can maintain a germ-free environment for each of our customers. Meanwhile, these towels cut down on water waste, as we don’t need to use a washing machine or tumble dryer, and that reduces our carbon footprint.”

Our very own Janene Hawkins has just returned from an intensive year spent at a prestigious hairdressing masterclass called ‘Project X.’ Here, she explains what it was like learning from the best hairdressers and stylists in the UK, and how excited she is to bring her new skills and knowledge back to Heavenly Hair.

Our very own Janene Bush, Managing Director and Owner of Heavenly Hair and Sir Barbers, recently attended a long hair styling session with multi award-winning hairdresser and British Hairdressing Awards Hall of Fame member, Tracey Devine-Smith.  The event, which took place in Skegness, was attended by a number of stylists from the Fellowship of British Hairdressing. 

Heavenly Hair’s sister business, Sir & Co Barbers, will be offering free haircuts to current and veteran members of the Armed Forces on Monday, 11th November.
